The Paw Search my personal endeavour to link potential pet parents with a wide array of licensed animal shelters, rescues, and adoption agencies in the UAE.
As a pet owner myself, I understand the immense joy that a dog brings into one's life. Also, as an animal shelter foster parent and volunteer, Ive also seen the challenges both shelters and potential pet owners face trying to match with the right pet.
The Paw Search was germinated keeping these challenges in the mind to enable potential pet owners to explore and find furry companions that align with their preferences, whether it's species, breed, age, or location.
Its commitment extends beyond mere connection; it meticulously curates comprehensive free listings of pets in search of forever homes, ensuring a match between pets and their future families. Moreover, it extends a helping hand by offering a wealth of resources and educational materials, nurturing responsible pet ownership and fostering a loving bond between humans and their four-legged friends. The Paw Search is an invaluable ally, catering to both the heartfelt aspirations of individuals yearning to adopt pets and the noble efforts of licensed organizations striving to provide sanctuary for animals in need on one single platform. The listings on the site are sourced from registered animal care shelters and regular people volunteering for their local animal welfare organizations all working together to maintain active and accurate homeless pet lists. Most animal welfare volunteers have “real jobs” by day. The success and the magnitude of this project is largely due to their tireless efforts to make a difference.
All costs of running and maintaining the site are borne privately by me without any external or sponsored funding. The Paw Search offers a lifetime complimentary listing service for licensed groups. Pet costs mentioned in each listing have to be paid directly to the licensed animal group.
